Bespoke engagement rings, hand-finished settings, and watch service from the same family that opened the doors before the war ended. By appointment, by hand, by the rules we've kept for eighty-two years.
In 1943, Red and Bobbie Anderson opened a small watch-repair bench in Savannah. They lived above the work. Customers brought broken Hamiltons and tired wedding bands, and Red — patient, near-sighted, exacting — gave them back something better than new.
In 1969, Red's sons Bob and Jimmy joined their father, and Anderson Jewelers opened its first official storefront — a counter inside the Belk department store on Broughton. Watch repair stayed at the heart of it, but rings and chains and gifts for granddaughters began to fill the case.
In 1988, the family crossed the river and opened a second house on Hilton Head Island. Two years later, Robert Anderson II earned his Graduate Gemologist diploma from the Gemological Institute of America. In 1991, Janice Anderson opened the Eisenhower location where the family still trades today.
Three generations later, Wil Anderson holds the door. A fourth generation is at the bench, learning the way Red taught Bob — slowly, by hand, by repetition, by the rule that nothing leaves the shop unless you'd put it on your own daughter's finger.
We don't run sales. We don't ship by drone. We don't have a chatbot. What we have is eighty-two years of Savannah families coming back — for the second ring, for the anniversary band, for the watch that belonged to their father.
Not a showroom. A workshop with a door open to the street.
Sizing, prong rebuilds and stone setting happen here, in-house — not shipped to a third-party lab in another state. Your piece never leaves Savannah.
Nobody here works on commission. You'll never be steered to the expensive case. We'd rather you came back in twenty years than spent more today.
Robert Anderson II earned his Graduate Gemologist diploma from the GIA. Every appraisal and every stone is graded by a trained eye, in writing.
From nautical anchor pendants to emerald three-stones, we build pieces you won't find in a mall case — drawn, waxed and cast for one wearer.
Engagement is the only commission where the wearer hasn't met the maker yet. So we treat it differently. Long conversations. Hand-drawn sketches before quotes. Stones sourced on memo so you can see five together in natural light.
Lab-grown or natural — your call, no judgement. Platinum, 14k, 18k, rose, mixed-metal — your call. We carry no salesmen and no quotas. We carry one rule: don't propose with a ring you can't picture on a Saturday morning twenty years from now.
A custom ring at Anderson Jewelers is a conversation that becomes a sketch that becomes a wax that becomes a ring. You're invited to the bench at every stage. No surprises, no upsells, no decisions made for you.
An unhurried hour at the parlor — or a phone call, if you're nervous. We talk about her hand, her wardrobe, her grandmother's ring. No quote yet.
Hand-drawn pencil sketches — three to five directions. We mark up what you love, throw out what you don't. Stone budgets discussed openly.
Photorealistic 3D rendering of the chosen design. You see it from every angle before a single gram of metal is cut.
A physical wax of the ring, hand-finished at our bench. You can try it on, feel the weight, adjust the profile.
Cast in your chosen metal, stone set by a GIA-trained gemologist, hand-finished and engraved. Ready for the moment.

Bespoke and selected solitaires, halos, and three-stones. Lab-grown and natural — your choice, no judgment.
Plain, milgrain, channel, eternity. Mixed-metal pairs for couples who don't want to match.

Bands and clusters that mark the second decade, the third, the fortieth. Diamond eternities, emerald stations, custom inscriptions.

A small, well-kept case of estate pieces — Edwardian filigree, mid-century cocktail rings, pre-owned Rolex.

New Citizen Eco-Drive, pre-owned Rolex, and authorized service for Rolex and Tag Heuer. Condition reports in writing.

Ring sizing, prong rebuilds, chain solder, pearl restringing, insurance appraisals signed by a GIA Graduate Gemologist.
Real pieces from our bench and the brands we carry — no generic stand-ins. A few custom commissions, a few watches from the case.
I have been trading with these folks for 25 or 30 years — and they have always come up to my high standards.
Her husband's choice of a diamond bracelet for their anniversary was breathtaking, and a reflection of the store's excellent reputation in Savannah.
Wil and the team turned my grandmother's pin into the engagement ring of my fiancée's dreams. They handled the heirloom with the reverence it deserved.
They serviced my Rolex when the authorized dealer in Atlanta wanted twice the price and three months longer. Came back perfect.

Most custom commissions run 6 to 9 weeks from first sketch to finished ring. If you have a proposal already on the calendar, tell us — we keep room for rush work and will be honest about what's possible.
Yes — natural or lab-grown, your choice and no judgement either way. We'll show you both side by side and explain the real differences in price, grading, and resale so you can decide with open eyes.
Heirloom redesign is some of our favourite work. We'll examine the stone, talk through settings that honour where it came from, and rebuild it for the next generation — all on our own bench, never shipped out.
We sell new Citizen Eco-Drive and carefully selected pre-owned Rolex, and we service Rolex and Tag Heuer in-house. Every service comes with a written condition report — and the estimate is always free.
We do. Appraisals are graded and signed by Robert Anderson II, a GIA Graduate Gemologist, and written to the standard your insurer needs. Bring the piece in and we'll handle the paperwork properly.
Send a note below and we'll be in touch within one business day. Walk-ins are welcome during shop hours — but for engagement consults and estate appraisals, a booked hour gives us time to do it properly.
